How much does a session cost?
My fee is $200 for a 50 minute session.
Do you accept insurance?
I don’t take insurance, formally called “out-of-network”. We can navigate this and I am happy to provide you with a form called a Super-bill that you can send in to your insurance for possible reimbursement. That means you’re responsible for the fees at the time of our appointment and, depending on your plan, a certain percentage of that may be paid to you by your insurance company.
I encourage you to call the number on the back of your insurance card to find out what your “out-of-network” benefits are so there aren’t any scary financial surprises. Ask them where to send what’s called a “Superbill,” that’s the form I’ll give you. I’ll give you everything you need for that, you just need the address.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Your treatment fee is due at the end of each session, unless we arrange for monthly billing. I accept cash, credit cards or checks.
What is your cancellation policy?
I have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If for any reason you are unable to make your appointment and you cancel 48-hours or more in advance you will not be charged. If you cancel with less than 48-hours notice, you will be charged the full fee for your therapy session.
How long is a session? How often should we visit?
Sessions are 50 minutes and happen at a frequency of one or more times per week depending on our first visit assessment of your needs.
